A Truly Spectacular Cake! I ordered the black ribbon hearts cake for my daughter’s bridal shower in the 10” round size. Let me tell you, it was spectacular! It was the centerpiece of our dessert table and the star of the show! My entire experience with Freed’s was a delight. Starting with Janie during the ordering process. She made suggestions about how to incorporate the wedding’s color theme and made sure the baker would have the most accurate information. And I would love to say thank you to whoever our baker was because they did a phenomenal job. The icing was tinted to the EXACT shade I wanted and the entire cake was just gorgeous AND delicious!!! Thank you all sooo very much!!!
Strawberry shortcake was DELICIOUS!!! Bought it for my husband's birthday & everyone LOVED it! Bought the 10-15 people size cake & there were only 2 pieces left- that's how much everyone loved it. An opportunity for Freed's is that they should make a cake box to fit the actual size of the cake. Upon pickup of the cake, it came in an open box & we were told they do this all the time. Not easy to store a cake that size in the refrigerator with an open top to the box that is taped on the sides.
I always enjoy shopping online with Freed’s for special occasions. The cake I ordered for a friend was perfection and made a sweet impact on her. The pick-up, instructions and overall experience makes it so easy to show kindness to your friends and celebrate their milestones.
We tried three different bakeries while planning our wedding, and Freed’s absolutely hit it out of the park. We ordered a three-tier cake plus an additional serving cake for our 75 guests, and there was more than enough for everyone. Our flavors were lemon, marble, and almond (with almond for the serving cake too), and every single one was delicious. We chose Freed’s Bakery for our original wedding 25 years ago, so it felt right to come back for our 25th anniversary—and they absolutely did not disappoint. If you’re looking for a custom cake in Las Vegas or a bakery for a milestone celebration, Freed’s delivers both quality and experience. Janie worked with me over email and phone for a few weeks to bring a very specific vision to life. We collaborated on mockups, refining details like floral arrangements, ornament placement, and how to modernize elements from our original wedding cake. What stood out most was her patience and professionalism. There were days I went quiet, and she picked right back up without missing a beat—no pressure, just consistent, thoughtful service. When we met in person, she was just as warm and detail-oriented. The cake itself was a hit. We chose red velvet and almond amaretto, and both flavors were outstanding—moist, flavorful, and not overly sweet. You can tell they know what they’re doing. We also did a “preview run” and picked up cupcakes ahead of time (red velvet, almond amaretto, mint chocolate chip, and their Vegas strawberry and cream), along with a dozen macarons. Everything was excellent and made it easy to feel confident in our final choices. 25 years later, Freed’s still delivers the same quality and care—maybe even better. That kind of consistency is rare.

Every cake I’ve ordered has been beautifully designed and made exactly the way I envisioned. My family absolutely loves them! We ordered a Pastel Mermaid - 10" Extra Tall (Serves 24-30) / Chocolate Cake with Bavarian Cream online for a 3 year old’s birthday party and couldn’t be happier with the final result! The handmade fondant toppings were truly a work of art! The Bavarian Cream was paired so well with the chocolate cake! It wasn’t overly sweet like most bakerys. When picking up the cake the day of the party, Hayley was very patient and helpful in boxing, explaining how to handle for transporting and ideas on how to cut it properly. So many great compliments were received when we presented this cake for the Under the Sea Look Who’s 3 Birthday Party! They do offer delivery for an additional cost. I think we were too excited for the celebration that we chose to pick it up ourselves. We elected not to have Happy Birthday written on top of the cake - it was clear who the birthday girl was on this day! The bakery itself at this location is magnanimous. There is an entire office separate from the bakery that is dedicated to helping anyone create a custom design. Truly an elevated experience in a professional environment! I’m already working with Kennedy at Freeds on a cake for another event in the future! Thank you Freeds Bakery for this fantastic cake and the staff that helps make it happen! We couldn't have been happier with our wedding cakes! From the moment we met the team for our tasting, they were incredibly kind, welcoming, and helpful. They made the entire process so easy and every detail was seamless. Our groom's cake was a Yankees cap filled with the most incredible chocolate Bavarian cream (which we cannot recommend highly enough!) and our vintage cherry wedding cake was absolutely perfect. The cakes were not only stunning, but genuinely some of the best cake we've ever had. Our guests couldn't stop talking about them. If you're looking for a bakery that combines exceptional artistry, flawless execution, and truly delicious cakes, look no further. We can't recommend them highly enough!
Freeds is the best!!!! Wanted a customized cake for a business anniversary. Jayme worked with me on the design and every detail of the cake. It turned out exactly and even better than what I had expected!! The turf and the golf club were so real. They made it all out of sugar. Everything was edible. I’m super impressed and would highly recommend this cake shop to everyone!
